Princess Pia

Good morning bloggers. Firstly I have to say thank you to my niece who helped me finish my card. I am not sure what I have done but I have a really painful shoulder at the moment!. I was half way through my Diva's DT card and had almost decide that I could not finish it because of the pain but my 7 year old niece came to the rescue in the form of manning the cuttlebug and generally helping out so thank you very much Amelia.

Now onto today's Diva by Design challenge. This weeks theme is Glitter and Sparkle sponsored by Kenny K. We have generously  been given some images to play with and I chose Princess Pia.

As you can see from my card I got a bit carried away with the purple hair and the glitter!!!!!!!!!!!

The image is coloured using Copics and lashings of stickles. The papers are DCWV called Chateau Lavender which I bought from the Glitter pot a few months ago. I have matted my paper onto some silver mirri board for added sparkle (as if I needed any more!) Amelia kindly cut my frame using nesties and also the boarder by memory box. The sentiment is Craftwork cards and the flower is cut at 2 inches on my Cricut. The pink and lavender pearls are form my stash as is the black ribbon.

I am so sorry about your shoulder. When I was in nursing school my left shoulder hurt and it was something to do with my neck and because I was bent over books so much. Stress probably helped too -- another friend that is a crafter gets pains in her neck and shoulders so she keeps her table a lot higher than normal so she is not bending over it so much. Good luck Sugar!
I love the colors you have used on your card and this little Diva is wonderful. I also like the do dads hanging from what looks like lace. Really pretty card!!
