Thank you

Good evening everyone hope you all had a great day and didn't work too hard. I rushed home from work to quickly finish my Lilli of the valley entry before I missed the deadline. Talk about cutting it fine!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used some really pretty papers from Prima (fairy stack I think) and coloured this oh so sweet Lili stamp using Copics in co-ordinating colours. The lace edge is a Martha Stewart punch. Last but not least the wooden leaf embellishment I found at the craft barn on Sunday and could't resist buying several packs. They come as plain wooden shapes which you can ink or paint, very cute I think.

I am going to enter this card into the following challenges

Hope you like it

Happy Birthday

Just a real quick post just to get me back into the swing of things.
I started this card before I went on holiday but didn't know how to finish it. Then I saw the Spoon full of Sugar Challenge a few days ago and every thing clicked into place.

The challenge that I am going to enter with this card is A Spoon full of Sugar - Happy Birthday

Well here it is........................

I have used this really cute stamp by Penny Black and coloured her using Copic markers.
The papers are from a K&Co wedding stack which worked really well with the raffia ribbon from Wild Orchid crafts. Everything else came from my stash apart from the sentiment which is  Lili of the Valley stamp.

I really hope you like it and will try much harder to be more prolific in my posting.

6 weeks summer holidays almost over

Hi every one its been a long time between posts for me. I suppose that's what happens when the summer hols comes along and your little darlings need all of your attention.

We have had a great time this year though so mustn't grumble. We have been exploring the the jungles of Mexico and sampling the delights of Cenote swims. My son cant wait to tell all his school friends that he climbed the Pyramid of Coba and walked a Mayan football pitch.

Grand Cenote

I really enjoyed my time here and the water was beautiful and cool.

This is the tallest pyramid at Coba called Nohoch Mul and it stands over 138 feet.

Hopefully I should be able to post a couple of cards later so see you all soon
