Happy Birthday

Hi just a really quick one. I miss the LIM challenge last week so I thought that as the challenge is anything goes this week why not.

It's just a simple 6 x6 inch white card that has been stamped with black ink and embellished with a touch of stickles.

The stamps came from Craftwork cards and the ribbon from my stash.

See ya

Fairy Teddy Bea

Good morning everyone. I hope you are all keeping well. I seem to have lost my mojo a bit in recent weeks months even. Hopefully that will be sorted out with a bit of retail therapy at the Alexandra Big stamp and scrapbooking show tomorrow. I have been promised some funds from my husband so all is well in the Ainsworth household.

Any way back to the job in hand. Today I an going to post a card that I created yesterday and its a Teddy Bea made using a gorgeous stack of Tilda papers call kitchen garden.

I have used these stunningly beautiful Tilda papers from the kitchen garden stack. They are so pretty and dreamy that they actual inspired me to pick up my crafting tools again.
Teddy Bea has been coloured  using Copic's to compliment the papers
The paper lace is a spell binders die which I wasn't that keen on untill I used it yesterday now I'm in love!!!!

The little button I cut from patterned paper and then added some crackle glaze to give an aged effect.
I had to break out the picker fence crackle paint to go with it, which I went round the edges of my cards with.

The pink peg I found at the bottom of one of my craft draws and have no idea where it came from.

Recipe.

Christmas in August

Good evening every one. What a horrible day it has been here in London. My garden gazebo is no more, completely ripped to shreds and all over the garden. Oh  well I suppose this means winter is on its way, only 109 days until Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and because Christmas is fast approaching us I decided to join in the Christmas in August challenge over at Div a's by Design.

I brushed of my favourite Lili christmas stamp that I bought last year and coloured her with Copic's. I'm not sure if you can tell from the photo but to give that extra Christmas bling I have used gold paint on the gift bag.
The papers where scraps from last year also so not sure where they came from. The charms I have had in my stash for quite some time and the shop that they came from has sadly closed down.

  Copic colours used
R29,R27,R24,R22,R20
E53,E51,E50,W7,W5,W3,W1
Paper lace die is by Magnolia

I am really please with this hand made flower. It is a sizzix die of different shaped petals. I cut the petals from Bazzil card and then spritzed with Cosmic shimmers, scrunched the shapes up in a ball and then unfurled them and shaped using a ball tool and an embossing mat.
Challenges

Hope you like it
