Lazy Days

Good afternoon fellow bloggers. I have had a lovely day off work today as its half term. My son thinks he is too old to do things with his mum at half term but I had other ideas. We spent a really nice day together and tomorrow its off to the British Museum with his cousin. His dad works next door to the museum so we can all have lunch together.

Enough waffle and onto the card. I really enjoyed making this card. I have rediscover the Gorjuss Girl stamps and fallen in love with them all over again.

I have used First Edition papers again. This time it's summer breeze. I didnt have a die big enough for the back ground so I used my Cricut with the sentimental s cartridge at 5.5 inches. I think the shape works quite well. The cloud and the bunting has been cut using a Magnolia Doohickey set.

The heart is a chipboard piece that has been coated with several layers of embossing powder by stampendous. I felt the need for a bit of glam on this card so I used a wide piece of cream cotton lace from Hobby house crafts and then added a small piece of my precious rose lace to compliment.

I have used Tim Holtz distress ink on the cloud and a little picket fence around the edges of the card.

The Gorjuss Girl stamped image has been coloured using Copic's in the following colours.
