Sadies Dragon

Good morning fellow bloggers. It's time for a new challenge over at Diva's by Design. The challenge this time is Fairies and Fantasy sponsored by Crafts and Me.

For my interpretation I have used Sadies Dragon which is available to buy from Crafts and Me in digital format

I Coloured my image using a combination of Copic's and Prisma pencils. Her hair is entirely coloured with Prisma's using ginger root, dark umber and light umber. The papers are First edition spring feast which I picked up at the Ally Pally craft show on Saturday.. Her wings and the dragon egg have been sparkled up with a little stickles. The flower I am really please with as I made it myself. I used my Cricut and Flower shoppe cartridge. I saw a demo at the weekend making paper flowers with a spellbinders die and thought I can do that............Work in progress I think but I am still pleased.  Any way nip on over to the Diva's blog check out my teamies work. They have some fantastic work to inspire you.

The White Rabbit

Hello bloggers.....Thank goodness its Friday that's all I can say. It's been a bit of a week for me. I had oral surgery at the hospital on Monday and am only just starting to feel human again.  I had a botched root canal treatment a few years ago and had infection after infection. The hospital had to remove the tooth and then scrape the infection from my jaw bone. Not pleasant I can tell you. Any way enough moaning the worst is over and the really good thing is that there is a new challenge over at Stampin for the weekend to take my mind off it.................................

The challenge is feeling floral. So anything with flowers really.....The challenge will run for 3 weeks and is being sponsored by In 2 Stamps. The winner will be selected at random.

Ok so this is my offering

I have used a Gorjuss girl image called the White Rabbit (hence the title) I coloured her up using Copic's with a little bit of glaze on the watch face. The papers I am really pleased with, They are a K&Co self adhesive mat stack which I found at Hobby Craft. The cute little sun flower was cut using my Cricut and cartridge walk in my garden. The ribbon is from my stash. The metal sentiment was a real bargain, absolutely free on a magazine a couple of years ago.

Do take a mosey around my fabulous team mates blogs as they have some great inspiration projects for you.

Christmas

******This was supposed to have posted at 9am this morning so I am not very happy with blogger at the mo. It wasn't until I just got in from work that I noticed it hadn't!*******

It's Friday and that means that we have another challenge over at Stampin for the Weekend. We are sponsored by Simon Says Stamp. To be in with a chance of winning this time we want to see your Christmas card Creations.  If your stuck for inspiration pop over the the SFTW challenge blog my teamies have really out done themselves this time and created some wonderful cards.

I have used an old Basic grey Christmas stack of papers matted on to a scalloped edge card. To create the doily I used a Martha Stewart punch around the page. A real bargain it was too £12 from the raft barn sale!. The image is a Hanglar, Unfortunately I cant remember what she is called. I coloured her using my Copics.

Swirls and Pearls SFTW DT Card

Good Morning everyone and welcome to a new challenge over at Stampin for the Weekend. Our challenge this time is swirls and pearls, so break out those dies and bling!.... Our generous sponsor this time is The PrettyLittle Ribbon Shop. Remember you have to be in it to win it so head over to the challenge blog and check the fab design inspiration from my talented teamie. (sorry I have a terrible fixation with the national lottery at the moment ...LOL!)..

Ok onto my interpretation of this weeks challenge

I have used my favourite First edition papers for this one called New Leaf...Just Yummy. The frame around my image was cut using Spellbinders nesties. I placed the scalloped oval on a magnetic mat and then a small smooth oval in side that. Placed the paper over the top and cut..simple as that. The too cute image is a Wee stamp called Suzy with Bunny and I have coloured her with Copic's (Note to self must get some more of these cute stamps!). The ribbons and pearls I grabed from my ever growing stash of bits and bobs (another note to myself dont buy any more use what you have! ......right as if that gona happen.). Nerly forgot if you are wondering about the swirl that a Magnolia die I bought from The Glitterpot.

Monochrome at SFTW

Good morning every. It feels like I have bee away forever! I have just come back from my family holiday in Mexico so I have rather a lot of catching up I am afraid. So if I haven't been to visit in a while it's because I have been lounging around the pool cocktail in hand! Back to reality this morning. I am working from home today and having huge headaches with my internet. If it carries on I am going to have to pop into work and nobody wants that!!!!.

Any way onto todays challenge over at Stampin for the weekend. We want to see monochrome cards this time and what that means is shades of only one colour. Our very generous sponsor this time is Simon says stamp, who are offering a gift voucher worth $25  to the winner. How good is that?.

My DT card

I have gone for a really simple card this time. A Craftwork cards base and a simple stamped image by Woodware stamps. I have used Copics in shades of grey and complemented the whole thing with some grey Bazzill card. I dont think you can see from the picture but to add some texture I ran a piece of white card though my Cuttlebug using a polkadot folder I bought from the Glitterpot.

Thanks for popping by and do take the time to check out the fabulous cards by my talented team mates at SFTW.

So its been quite some time since I posted anything here and although I still love card making I haven't made anything for about 3 years...
