On the Pot

It's challenge time at Stampin for the weekend. The theme this time is every bodies favourite Anything Goes which is being sponsored by Pretty Little Ribbon Shop.

I framed up this ultra cute image by Mo Manning for my down stairs loo of all places! She call on the pot.
The image is coloured with Copics and the frame is from Marks and Spencers. What more is there to say? Nice and simple but effective. For more inspiration pop over to the SFTW blog and check out what my talented teamies have done.

Distressing

It's challenge time at Diva's by Design and the fab new theme is distressing. The Sponsor for this challenge is Lili of the Valley.

I have chosen to use a Lilli stamp that was bought at Ally Pally in April called Little mermaid friends. I have coloured using copics and prisma pencils. The papers are Pink Paisley London Market.
I have used a new set of spellbinders called  adorning squares for the matting.

I am back

Good  evening everyone.
It has been quite some time since my last post and I feel that I am now ready to tell you why. Almost 3 weeks ago my mother sadly passed away after being ill for quite some time. Although very ill and having recently being diagnosed with cancer her death was not expected to happen quite so quickly. It came as they say like a bolt out of the blue leaving the whole family in a state of shock and turmoil.

She was a big part of our lives and will leave a massive hole that will be impossible to fill. Over the years my mother played carer to nearly all of her 7 grandchildren while I and my siblings went to work and without her none of us would have been able to provide for our children as we have so for this and many other things I am eternally grateful to her.
