Anchors Aweigh!!!!!!

Its time for another challenge over at Stampin for the weekend. This time round we want you to show us your style. Not just any style but your style!. It could be girly, clean and simple, distressed, vintage, layers, any thing you can think if that you think reflects your style. The sponsor for this challenge is.......

Take a wander over there because they have some fabulous items and if that's not good enough they are having a sale at the moment so you could grab yourself a bargain. Ok so onto my DT card....

I am not sure what you would call my style? layers maybe. I like to use 3 0r 4 different patterned papers on my cards and if the bottom edge of the card is shaped all the better!

The papers that I have used are Portobello Road by Papermania. They complement this gorgeous 

Mo Manning sailor boy so well. I coloured him using my trusty copic markers. The little stamp die is  office supplies by Spellbinder. The stamp used is from the Portobello road postage/passport collection. to finish of I used some ribbon from my stash and made bunting with a doohickey die by Magnolia.

Diva's DT card: Summer time Saturated canary

Good morning everyone. It's time for a new challenge over at Diva's by Design. The challenge this week is Summer time. Now don't all laugh at once we must be optimistic and believe that the sun will make an appearance at some point in the UK this summer!!!!!  Our sponsor this week is Delicious Doodles.

 For this card I have used a gorgeous stack by First Edition called Boho. I cant seem to get enough of these papers at the moment. /the image is another fabby by Krista Smith at Saturated Canary called springtime. But the challenge is Summer time I hear you shout, I know this despite the constant torrential rain. I just think the image and the paper have a lazy summer feel about them.   

I have distressed all of the edges with distress ink in walnut stain for a warmer feel. I also used a memory box die for the flowers , nesties for my image and the doohickey lace die for my edge. All of the other bit and pieces are from my stash.

The image has been coloured using copic markers.

Good morning......
Today is my daughters 22nd birthday. I am not sure where all the time has gone but it's making me feel old!!!! I was her age when she came along. Happy birthday Louise xx.
OK on to today's challenge at Stampin for the weekend. The theme this time is Bugs and butterfly's. We have 2 fabulous sponsors this fortnight and they are Simon says Stamp and Bugaboo

 I am ashamed to say that this is the first time that I have inked this stamp and I have had her for about 2 Years!!!! She is called Ladybug Tilda. I have coloured her using Copic markers. R89,R85,R83,R8, E55,E53,E51,E50. The papers are My Minds Eye lost and found.

 The cut outs have all been done using my Cricut and walk in my garden cartridge. The flower I found in my stash and is pink leather.
