Ribbons and Pearls

Good morning every one and I hope you are all having a lovely weekend. It's time for a new challenge over at Paper Sundaes. The challenge this week is Ribbons and Pearls sponsored by Lili of the Valley.

For my card I have used a gorgeous Lili stamp called sprinkle with sugar which you can find here. I coloured the whole thing with my Prisma pencils. The paper stack is by DCWV and is called Chateau Lavender .
The ribbon roses and lace are from my stash of bits and bobs. The pearls I bought from the Alexandra palace craft show a few weeks back. The metal corner is from wild orchid crafts
Do go and have a peek at my lovely teamies blogs they have created some stunning cards this week.

Let's get cute

Its a new challenge over at Paper Sundaes and the theme is Let's get cute. This weeks fabulous sponsor Bugaboo gave us all a fee digi to work with. I chose the ultra cute Fancy SB flowers which you can find here.

I am a complete newby to Paper Sundaes and this is my first Design Team card so I have been a little nervous about what I should make. I don't usually use flowers on my cards that much but the image just seemed to be asking me to add them so I went rooting around my stash and came out with a piece of pale pink tulle by Bazzill basics and a dusky pink rose from Kaiser crafts. Hopefully it them all fell into place.
you decide.

The papers that I have used are K&company Wedding collection. The card base is by Craftwork cards. I cut the edge of my flowered paper with a magnolia doohickey die to a give a lacey effect and then decided to add some cotton lace from my stash under neath to give a little more depth. The gorgeous lace shape was cut using a spellbinder die called lattice motifs. The corner and the pearls can be found at Wild orchid crafts.

Don't forget to go check out the challenge and do take the time to visit all of the talent ladies at

Stampin for the weekend DT card

OMG I am so sorry this post was scheduled for this morning and I have just come in from work and seen that it didn't work. Better late than never I suppose!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning bloggers, It's the start of a new challenge over at Stampin for the Weekend and i am so excited because this will be my first Design team card with this talented bunch of ladies. The theme this week is Sparkle and shine. So break out all things that glitter and shine and let us see you fabulous creations.

Our sponsor this week is
They are offering this great stamp as the prize this week
Why not take a wonder over to the shop and see the array of goodies they have for sale.

Right onto my card. I was as to make this card for a colleague of my husbands. It's for her 7 year old granddaughter Lilah. It fit the challenge perfectly and I hope she likes it.

I have used a Mo Manning image that I cropped with a nestie, then a little bit of decoupage for the wing. The wisps that you can just see behind the image are magic fibers from Creative Expressions. You spread them out onto grease proof paper and then iron then on a low heat. The rose is made from the fibers too. I just ran it through my cuttlebug with a Marianne rose die and Bobs your uncle. The papers are First Edition Day dream from Crafts u Love as was my memory box die. I used my Cricut for the 7. I then went to town with stickles and gems. The wings are finished off with a touch of glossy accents. I printed Lilah's birthday greeting onto some craft card and used my favourite Spellbinders tag.

Ok thats it from me. Dont forget to take a mosey around the the blogs of our talented design team.

Special Birthday

Good afternoon everyone. I have some more new to share today. I have been bursting to tell you but I couldn't until today. The talented ladies over at Paper Sundaes have asked me to join their design team and I was thrilled to say yes. I think that I an going to be very busy from now on and need to be a lot more organised!!.

On another note. I haven't been around much lately as my mum has been in hospital for the past 2 weeks. This means that I haven't been visiting your blogs as much as I would have liked. Mum is still in hospital but seems to be a lot better in her self so I should be able to catch up on your lovely creations soon.

Right onto my card for today. It's one that I made quite some time ago but didn't have the time to post it.

The image is a gorgeous Saturated Canary Image by Krista Smith that was free on her blog a month or so ago. I have coloured her using Copic markers (sorry cant remember the colours). The base is from Craftwork Cards and I have covered it using First Edition papers. The stack is called love letters. The 2 little hearts I cut using my Cricut. the edge of the paper has been cut using a magnolia doohicky die. I used foam pads to give this layer a bit of height so that I could put cotton lace underneath. The ribbon and the button are from my stash.

Pink Punkette Diva

Good morning everyone, it's Wednesday again so that means that there is a new challenge over at Diva's by Design. This weeks theme is charmed i'm sure. So you have to use a charm on your creations, it's as simple as that.
Our sponsor this week is Saturated Canary and we have some guest appearances by the Talented Saturated Canary Design Team.

My talented teamies at Diva's have also made some stunning cards this week so do take the time to go and check them out.
My DT card

Sorry about the pictures they seem to have come out a little dark and no matter how I tried I could not get them any lighter!
I have used the image Pink Punkette by Krista Smith for my card and coloured her with Prisma pencils. The papers are Desert bloom by First Edition and the Diva charm I found in one of my trinket boxes ( how appropriate was that ?).
I have used a Doohickey die for the lace and a spellbinders die for the tag. the tag die is a new favourite of mine. The small bull dog clip is by Tim Holtz.

Thanks for visiting me and feedback is always appreciated

Circus Trixie

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are all having a lovely long weekend off. I have some news to share today. The lovely ladies over at Stampin for the Weekend have kindly asked me to join their fabulous team, and of course I had to say yes!!!!! I am so thrilled to be joining them . Pop on over and take a look here. The challenge at SFTW this week is Ready Teddy GO....

Right onto my card for today..................................

I have used another fabulous Saturated Canary image for this card and she is called Circus Trixie. I have coloured her up using Prisma pencils that have been blended using solvent and stumps.
The gorgeous papers are First Edition Desert Blooms. I love the warm colours of this stack.

I cut out Trixie and layered her onto some circles that I cut using my Nesties. The tag has also been cut using a Spellbinders die and tied onto the card using bakers twine. The scalloped circles of flower paper I cut using my Cricut. I wanted to give the card a bit more depth but also wanted to stay away from traditional layers for a change. I used a rubber stamp for my sentiment but cant remember who it is by (sorry).
the scalloped card is from Craftworkcards.

Well I hope that you like my card and I really appreciate you visits and feedback. I am off to Alexandra palace next Saturday to stock up on more goodies. Maybe I will bump into some of you there!
