Snow flakes

Good morning everyone what a beautiful start to the weekend. The sun is shinning here in London. I am off to try and do some Christmas shopping in a minute so to get me into the spirit of things I had on a Christmas CD which my husband promptly took off and said it was far too early.  What a killjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a Teddy Bea Christmas card to share with you today. i have used one of my much awaited memory box dies and they only arrived yesterday.

The papers were a complete bargain, I found them in the clearance bin reduced from £7.99 the stack to £2.99. They are by Dovecraft. The card it's self is an easel cut from a piece of A4 white card stock in 380gm.

Lots and lots of embellishments on this one. A Sizzix die was used for the large snowflake, the snow flake boarder is of course Memory Box (I love how they look so delicate). Oval nesties have been used for the image base which has then been matted onto a scalloped oval nestie in kaleidoscopic silver.
The small snow flakes are wooden chip pieces that have been embossed.
Then lashings of cotton lace and rose ribbon finished off with blue peals and cream peal stick pins. The snow flake charm is one that I found at the bottom of my craft draw.

This is Teddy Bea Snow flake flight, my husband think that it looks like the power of Grey Skull pose. ( For those of you too young to remember it was from He man the cartoon series!!! by the way I am far too young to remember this particular series so I am not listening too him!)
The Image has been coloured with Copic markers and embellished with lots of stickles.

Bike Ride

Good afternoon every one.  Friday is finally here and I can have a nice lay in in the morning.

Just a quick post as I am off to visit my mum and should have left already.

I have an Edwin card I want to share today. He has only ever been stamped once before and I thought that it was about time he came out of the draw to play.

I have used the sketch from the Just Magnolia challenge last week.
The paper are all My Minds Eye Complete boy.

I have used quite a collection of Magnolia stamps for this one and they are:
Old oak tree
Edwin on bike
Butterfly background
Magnolia ticket stamp

I then spent a good few hours colouring this lot in and cutting out. the tree took me ages with a scalpel.

Sweet Christmas

Good evening everyone.

I am so sorry I have been such a terrible blogger that I haven't been anywhere near a blog in well over a week. My intentions are always good but there doesn't seems to be enough hours in the day. My family always seem to need me for something just as I am about to sit down and craft so I am afraid I just gave up!!!.

The card I want to share has taken me over a week to complete I am ashamed to say. I really must get my act together.....

I think with this card I just opened the craft draw and threw every thing at it and then sat back to see what had happened. i think I may have to call this a clutter card.

The papers for this one are Lost and found Christmas by My Minds eye. I have to say this is definitely one of my new  favorites.
you cant quite see from this photo but it is an easel card cut from white card stock.
(not that you can much of the base card anymore)

I don't have the Magnolia tree doohickey so I trawled through my Cricut cartridges and came out with the joys of the season for the trees which I cut out of grunge paper and painted with picket fence crackle.
The cute little ginger bread people are quick kutzs as is the poinsettia flower. I used the doohickey tag and lace dies as well. I did say that I threw the craft draw at this one!.

I've used some of the Sweet Christmas Magnolia stamps on this coloured with of course Copic pens.
I stamped Tilda with snow heart onto a piece of white card and then created a mask with a post it note. Once Tilda had been masked I used the welcome to a sweet Christmas background stamp over Tilda so it looks like she is standing at her front door.

I finished off with a bit of stickles round the door, a metal candy cane, a bling brad for the poinsettia and a huge pearl.

I hope you like it
