Stampin for the weekend DT card

OMG I am so sorry this post was scheduled for this morning and I have just come in from work and seen that it didn't work. Better late than never I suppose!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning bloggers, It's the start of a new challenge over at Stampin for the Weekend and i am so excited because this will be my first Design team card with this talented bunch of ladies. The theme this week is Sparkle and shine. So break out all things that glitter and shine and let us see you fabulous creations.

Our sponsor this week is
They are offering this great stamp as the prize this week
Why not take a wonder over to the shop and see the array of goodies they have for sale.

Right onto my card. I was as to make this card for a colleague of my husbands. It's for her 7 year old granddaughter Lilah. It fit the challenge perfectly and I hope she likes it.

I have used a Mo Manning image that I cropped with a nestie, then a little bit of decoupage for the wing. The wisps that you can just see behind the image are magic fibers from Creative Expressions. You spread them out onto grease proof paper and then iron then on a low heat. The rose is made from the fibers too. I just ran it through my cuttlebug with a Marianne rose die and Bobs your uncle. The papers are First Edition Day dream from Crafts u Love as was my memory box die. I used my Cricut for the 7. I then went to town with stickles and gems. The wings are finished off with a touch of glossy accents. I printed Lilah's birthday greeting onto some craft card and used my favourite Spellbinders tag.

Ok thats it from me. Dont forget to take a mosey around the the blogs of our talented design team.
Hugs
Jayne

Hey Jayne! What a gorgeous card you have created! Beautifully done. I love the way you have the wing of the fairy sticking out or the die cut and your coloring with this is wonderful I love those magic fibers - how neat would that be on a Halloween card too. Your card is awesome!!
